As we have already mentioned in the previous paper (1) and (2), we could appreciate the high demands of good educational training and in-service training programs as well as high quality software/hard ware (S/H) environments. In fact, the higher rate of computer indorsement at in-service school level is achieved by the great help of the S/H industry. Also the educational activities are being made by the Government, school administrators, educators as well as the people in software/hardware industry. It is true that the todays' educational programs could not be achieved without their technological innovation. Therefore, it is meaningful to survey and analyze the educational technology devotion of the S/H industry. The research results are as follows: 1. There are 85 companies in the S/H industry in Okinawa, but they are relatively small except a few. 2. The ratio of the S/H companies which develop and also sale educational software is 10 percent, and that of the companies which only sale educational software is 20 percent of the S/H industry. 3. These companies are taking care of several computer makers as well as different curriculum of different school levels. 4. The concept of "good" educational software differ between the S/H industry and the inservice teachers. 5. The S/H industry's educational and technological support seem to be relatively insufficient, due to human factor, economical factor and geographical locational factor. 6. There exist several problems which must be solved only by mutual co-operative works among the Government, school administrators, educators and the S/H industry.

The revision of curriculum pointed out the need to change from traditional art education, leading to further chaos. In concrete terms, serious problems lie in misinterpretations and a lack of consensus of objectives in art education, loss of self-confidence by teachers concerning teaching contents and methods, inappropriate ways of thinking about the ideas of evaluation and its methods. This might be fatal chaos of the subject which has been neglected. Details on this situation were discussed in my previous articles, "The Present Condition and Problems Art Education in Compulsory Education." and "An Examination of Present Problems and Issues in Art Education in Elementary School (1)." Based upon these articles, the present article attempts to present the current situation and guidelines.

The purpose of this report is to clarify the factors involving in the formation of people's view on the education of homemaking course. This investigation was made according to the analyzing method for the relationship between the educational view and people's life consciousness using the samples obtained by "General investigation on women's problems" conducted in Takamatsu city in September, 1988. The subjects who showed the opposed view to the principle that boys should also take the course as well as girls overlapped with the subjects who had a traditional sex role or the people who answered it is a toss-up. In the actual conditions on these women's lives they had chosen to have no occupation in order to raise their children. For the life consciousness of Takamatsu-city citizens, it was thus, difficult to assign a homemaking course to their boys. In addition, it was considered that there is a tendency to place the course as a maternal education or a preparatory education of girls for housewives.

The purpose of the present study is to clarify the characteristics of teaching materials in physical education, considering the concept "teaching materials" and suggest the field of the research for teaching materials. In this study, I stated and investigated four cases in which the concept "teaching materials" had been used in the study of curriculum and development. They are cases used : (1) in the logical order of the study of curriculum, (2) in the interpretation of teaching materials, (3) as one of three factors in the teaching, (4) as one of the qualitative steps. The conclusion of the present study is as follows. "Teaching materials" are the content which is thought before the teaching under the actual conditions. Teaching materials have the form combined the content of school subject with the concrete means. The characteristics of teaching materials in physical education are as follows. They have a double form. Basic form is a relation between the construction of conditions and the movement activity, secondary form is a relation between teacher's words and actions and the content of school subject.
