It has been said that the curriculum is organized by four factors; objectives, instructional contents, teaching method, and assessment. Among four, we have defined that the instructional contents are the most important one through a series of studies we have tried. As the instructional contents in relation to subject of music, we have considered rhythm and style to be most significant. In music instruction of school it is not to say that the contents must be given a form to the actual teaching process. Such development of the contents presented just above cannot be attained without establishing children's learning activities. From this point of view, laying focus on the creative activities, we have studied the development of instructional contents and organizing learning activities in this article. Creative activities are effective for the purpose of linking children into closer relations with the contents, besides they will be suitable means which develops children's abilities for musical cognition. When we will reconstruct the curriculum in music education, the development of the contents based on this activity will give us a meaningful suggestion. It is to be desired that each example in this article will assist teachers in planning their class.
