Response of the retinal and systemic pressure to treatment was investigated. The types of the response of the hypertensive patients who were treated are divided into 4 groups, Mode of the response was also studied in relation to the type of hypertension, renal function, ocular fundi findings and serum cholesterol levels.

When examining patients with pulmonary tuberculosis with the digestive symptoms, e. g. anorexia etc. all these cases were found to have cholecystopathy both clinically and roentgenologically. In order to make a diagnosis and prognosis of this disease the author used both Kudo's tender point for cholecystopathy and Kudo's palpitation method in lying position. These are methods which are easy to apply and have much value in clinical diagnosis.
The author also proved that rabbits with pulmonary tuberculosis had dysfunction of the gallbladder.
With these clinical and experimental results mentioned above, the author concluded that both tuberculous bacilli and its' toxin played a big role for causing cholecystopathy.

Using BCG rabbits group as control, investigations were made to clarify the influence of the tension in the parasympathetic system upon pulmonary tuberculosis in the experimental rabbit.
    Method
The drugs used were bile acid, lecithin, and insulin, all of which have been noted to have an accelerating action on tension of the parasympathetic system.
A unit of 5cc of 5% bile acid was intravenously injected, 5g of lecithin was orally administered, and a single unit of insulin was subcutaneously injected daily in each group.
After two weeks, bovine tubercle bacilli were innoculated into the lungs through the air passages.
periodically, measurement of body weight, tuberculin test, and examination by X-ray was done.
The autospy was done immediately on the day that the animal died and the rest of them were done on their last day. Measurement of the body weight, the lungs, liver, spleen, kidneys, and suprarenal glands, was made. In addition histo-pathological investigation and cultures were obtained from the organs.
    Results
    1. In the BCG rabbits group prolongation of their lives and increase in their body weight was observed, The macroscopic findings, the results of the histo-pathological examination, and the culture from the organs were found to be favorable by comparison with the control group.
    2. In the group receiving bile acid, the results were similar to that of the BCG group and were favorable in comparison with the control group.
    3. In the group receiving lecithin, the body weight was remarkably increased, however, both in the histo-pathological findings and the cultures from the organs no obvious difference with the control group was observed.
    4. In the group receiving insulin, a noticeable increase in their body weight as well as favorable histo-pathological findings and cultures from the organs were obtained by comparison with the control group.
    Conclusion
It was recognized that bile acid, lecithin, and insulin might have a favorable influence upon the course of pulmonary tuberculosis in the experimental rabbit.
