    Immunochemical studies on the antigens of malignant tumor by Ishikawa and his coworkers have revealed some antigenic components in sera and ascites of patients with cancer, distinct from normal constituents. These abnormal antigens possess electrophoretic mobilities corresponding to α1-, α2-, β2- and γ1-globulin of human serum immunoelectrophoretically. Therefore, they suggested that the specific antibodies against abnormal antigens might be applied for diagnosis of cancer.
    In this paper, the specific antisera against two antigens which have a mobility close to β2- and γ1-globulin respectively were prepared and used for sera of patients with gastric disease, Simplified gel diffusion technique was used for the application of this method to clinical routine work.
    The following results were obtained; 1) In thirty seven cases of gastric cancer, thirty three cases showed positive reaction (8906), two trace and two negative, 2) In nineteen cases of gastric ulcer, two cases were positive (both were the cases of perforative ulcer.), one trace and sixteen negative (84%). 3) In fourteen cases of gastritis, positive reaction was not found, but one case showed a trace positive reaction and thirteen negative (930), 4) Gastric polyp tested were two cases in which one was positive and other was negative. However, positive case was complicated with colic cancer which was extensively examined and found, because this immunological test of this case was positive before operation. The diagnosis of the all cases tested was verified by histological observation.

    In this report the author discussed the depth dose curve, absorption curve and isodose curve for 60Co-γ rays of Tele Cobalt Unit, RI-101-A.
    The depth dose curve and absorption curve corresponded with the data (that have ever been) reported in literatures, but the central axis of this isodose curve did not correspond with the center that the sight lamp of this Tele Cobalt unit indicated.
    This unit should be reconstructed for suitable treatment of γ-radiations of Tele Cobalt.

    We carried out serum protein analyse by paper electrophoresis in 18 cases, after a long period of bathing. The results were compared with those at the start.
    The conclusions are
    1) After 6 months of bath therapy, albumin increases while each globulin fractionn decreased in patients, in whom the disease improved during the period.
    2) The changes in serum protein were diverse, but the serum protein pattern almost returned after 6 months to that prior to the therapy.

    200-300mg pantothenic acid has been administrated to 9 patients of acute hepatitis, chronic hepatitis, and alcoholic liver cirrhosis, and its effects has been decided by liver needle biopsy.
    The results were as follows;
    1) According to clinical symptoms and liver function tests, the patients of acute hepatitis become almost normal within 2 month. However it was found that, they were still abnormal by liver needle biopsy.
    2) Chronic hepatitis following epidemic hepatitis has remarkably recovered, however to the chronic hepatitis with bile duct proliferation and fibrosis, the administration of pantothenic acid has not given radical effect.
    3) To the alcoholic liver cirrhosis, it has been effective, however to alcoholic fatty liver, that has no effects by other liver-tonic drugs, it has not been effective.
    4) That is to say, the administration of pantothenic acid has much effect to improve the inflammation or fatty degeneration of liver, however to liver fibrosis its effect is not still certain.
