ジャーナル 認証ありSilane coupling agents are type of silicon compound and have molecular structure that react with both inorganic and organic substances. These silanes react with inorganic substances through a two-step hydrolysis reaction and a dehydration-condensation reaction.
On the other hand, silica formulations are spreading because of low rolling resistance in the tire industry. These formulations include silane coupling agents to provide interaction between silica and rubber. The silane coupling agents react with silica during mixing and react with rubber during vulcanization. As a result, we can get a rubber stocks with high dispersibility and low energy loss.

ジャーナル 認証ありIn the Inorganic Materials Chemistry Laboratory of the Chemistry Course, Faculty of Science and Technology, Iwate University, faculty and students work together to develop manufacturing human resources and conduct practical research based on industry-academia collaboration to improve the technological capabilities of manufacturing companies. We are working on development. Manufacturing requires shaping. In order to demonstrate processing technology, surface treatment technology required for the process, molding processing technology, composite bonding technology, and mounting technology such as assembly, bonding, and wiring, we are conducting research on surface interface analysis and clarification of the bonding mechanism. I’m here. I will introduce the outline of the research in this laboratory.

ジャーナル 認証ありMaterial recycling technologies, contributing to promoting closed-loop recycling processes, are shown in this Part III for automotive polymer wastes mixed with crosslinked polymers as non-recyclable materials. High quality material recycling technologies based on continuous processes using twin-screw extruders under the controls of temperature, shear stress, internal pressure and chemical reactions in treating processes with selective breakages of crosslinking points and melt-blending of immiscible materials were developed in the late1990s and early 2000s for painted thermoplastic bumper waste, two layered surface material waste from interior trims and sulfur-crosslinked rubber waste from weather strips. Basic concepts for high closed-loop material recycling as shown in this lecture will provide some useful hints to use recycled materials for the same production or other high-value production cycles.
