Iteration correction method is mainly used for ghost canceling algolithm. This method is simple but takes long reduction time. To solve this problem, we have designed a new signal processing. In this processing, the received GCR signal, after noise reduction, can be substituted for the input OCR signal and sent to the transversal filter. By using this processing, we can effectively shorten ghost reduction time. As a result of our experiment, it makes possible to eliminate ghost interference in 2 seconds at an input S/N ratio of 40dB.
This paper describes a new type of 10kW VHF TV transmitter with "hot made transfer". This system consists of two 5kW transmitters in pararell. In case one transmitter fails, the output power of the other transmitter increases up to 8kW with uninterruptive transmission.
Described is the new type of mini-transmitting system which can be used for the TV relay station with an output of 0.1W. This system which is designed for the improvement of operation and cost reduction will be in practical use at about 4.000 TV relay stations in the future.
The two input impedance method for measureing permittivity and permeability of VHF, UHF ferrite absorbers is discussed. The presence of a air gap made both measured permeability and permittivity lower than ture values, in which the tendency was greater in the case of permittivity. the results of experimental points have been plottes in several graph for comparision with the theoretical cauve.
HF, VHF or UHF filters have been conventionally made up of helical resonators that have shortcomings for example low allowable maximum voltage low allowable power, low vibration-proof, and low temperature stability. This paper presents new type ring resonators developed in order to overcome the shortcomings of helical resonators. The new resonators should be suitable for the HF VHF or UHF filters.
We developed an automatic antenna impedance matching circuit for medium-wave AM radio transmitting system by using the newly algorithm for control. The automatic matching circuit can be adjusting the antenna impedance through the duplex feeding circuit. The new automatic matching circuit will be use at the Akatsuka radio station in Niigata with two 10kW transmitters. This paper describes the principle of the auto-matching theory and then system operations.
