One of the problems of studying fundamental solid geometry in elementary school is to master plane figure drawing. It is dificult for each pupil to understand how to draw developed figures of solids. A computer is expected to be one of effective tools for pupils to learn solid geometry through individual trainning. The present report describes an educational computer software tool to aid pupils.
Recently there is a research on the physical simulation to control the movement of the object on CG, by modeling the movement under the physical law of aerodynamics. However, in the case of making the video to design or to visualize, under the intention of the creater, the needs for the tool to simulate the movement of the object, not only the simulation and visualization but naturally and more effectively, is still growing. In this paper, the author would describe the half-physical way to control the movement of falling object and wind among the new software, with the CG animation "Namigaeshi (Returning Waves)" which is created to describe the Japanese beauty.
This paper introduces and describes VISISOUNDER, a system which generates images/graphics interactively from a musical performance. "Interactive" here means to make images in realtime with performance input, not to make an image as a result of long calculation of music interpretation. The system has been developed through intensive collaboration between artists and engineers. The system has been developed on personal computers so that no auxial peculiar hardware is required. The system can thus be regarded as a MIDI graphic synthesizer.
