Usual electrophotography needs complicated processes. Equipment volume reduction is difficult and it requires a lot of maintenance. A new electrophotography method without corona charging was proposed. This method is possible to realize an extremely thin printer. In this paper, the recording mechanism, particularly development and transfer process are discussed. By experimental investigations, the transfer characteristics especially the effects of paper resistance, the voltage bias of transfer, the presure force of roller, and toner resistance become clear.
