We have been studying computer graphics for television programs of sport for several years. And, we developed some systems of creating graphics for several sport programs. One is for displaying the names of racers on a race, one is for doing official time records connecting our system with official result systems, and so on. This time, we happily integrated these graphics systems, and developed new sub-systems. Computers in new sub-systems cooperated with each other, automatically measured necessary data and created graphics for television program of 45th FUKUOKA International Marathon.
Utilization of helicopter is common to shoot aerial films for TV broadcasting. However, it can be very dangerous in such cases like shooting aerial films of volcanic eruptions and other disasters. Recently, utilization of radio controlled helicopter is catching broad attention. But aerial photo-graphs taken from radio controlled helicopter have difficulties in getting stable image, due to the viblation and the roll of the body. To solve this problem, a vibration proof device for TV cameras is developed, which is proved to be very effective.
I developed the display system of information on weather, composed meteorological radar, earthquakes, typhoons and so on by using personalcomputers. Among these, earthquake information can be announced with the picture. in this report. I propose to present an outline of these various systems in routine use.
We developped the system for election reports by applying LAN system organized from PC and Ethernet in 1989. Since then, we have being given satisfactory results in election reports based on this system. We think this system have had a high level of function, ability and cost efficiency in local TV station. We are going on making all the software of this system more functionaly and the graphics for on air more distinctly so that we can obtain more better results.
we have developed the processor which shows TV pictures using data in the computer, called "Super Pictures Processor". using this processor, telops can be easily made and preserved electorically. And also still pictures or moving pictures can be easily recorded as digital data using JPEG technics. This processor has these data (telops, still pictures or moving pictures) in the hard-disk, and we deal with them using a personal computer.
MUSE system has higtly color reappearance compairing conventional NTSC TV by TCI methode. However watching enviroment's at homes and/or show wondows does not often reappear an original HDTV quality. Now, We experimental ly certified the effect of illumination parameter color temperature and it's spectrum for HDTV color appearances and propose an improvements one methode, for HDTV appearances.
