Report was made previously that the injury potential changed its value according to the envirommental concentration of K+. As well known, the action potential of the ureter (guinea pig) was consisted of two components, the slow and oscillating spike potentials, which were separable in various conditions.
Increase of the concentration of K+ in soaking fluid diminished the slow component of the action potentials. In this case the injury potential was lowered exceedingly. Substitution of Na+ in the soaking fluid by sucrose also decreased the slow potential, but not accompanied by obivious lowerring of the injury potential.
Above findings suggest that no close relationship between the slow potential and injury potential existed.

Studies were performed colpomicroscopically and histologically combinding with bacteriologial, morphological and colposcopic examination in 210 cases of pregnant women, 45 cases of puerperal women. Also 93 non-pregnant women were studied as control.
The picture of blood vessels and vital-stained cells around the surface area of cervical erosion was examined employing the colpomicroscopy. Many normal squamous, cylindroid epithelia were seen in first trimester. Closely located nuclei of squamous, cylindroid epithelia were seen high frequency in second and third trimester. Vital stained cell picture were classified into five groups. Six cases of pregnant and two cases of puerperal women had atypical epithelial cells of group III.
Histologically, poor squmous metaplasia of superficial epithelia was remarked in the third trimester, while increased degree of cystic and adenomatous changes of the gland under infiltrated submucous area were noted. High degree of hemorrhage and cell infiltration in the syroma was observed during the eintire course of pregnancy. The edematous change of stroma was increased ih the progress of pregnancy in proportion and the fibrous hyperplasia in puerperial period.
It is valuable to utilize the colpomicroscopy as the screening method for histological study.

Sero-test, Preg-test and Gonavis, all immunological pregnancy reaction reagents prepared by TEIKOKU ZOKI, NIHON TOKETSU KANSO and MOCHIDA products for hemagglutination inhibition reaction, were used clinically to evaluate their efficacy. It was found that each of these reagents showed the diagnostic correctness of about 100 % as a means of auxiliary pregnancy. Moreover, the simplicity of the procedures and the shortness of determining time are worthy enough to recommend as a practical and excellent method of pregnancy diagnosis.
