In taking measurement of the outflow rate of aqueous humor with Fluorescein, the obtained value is influenced by various factors.
Taken up in the present study are questions such as the transfer mechanism of Fluorescein to the anterior chamber, the state of distribution of Fluorescein in the anterior chamber and the disparity in concentration of Fluorescein between the anterior chamber and the posterior chamber, with respect to the eyes of the rabbit.
Fluorescein is transferred to the anterior chamber by diffusion.
When the rabbit is at a rest position, the concentration is high on the sagittal place of the central part of the anterior chamber.
This condition will disappear with. the movement of the eyeball.
The concentration of Fluorescein in the anterior and posterior chamber does not always show the same conditions.

The effects for improving the efficiency of hemodialysis was performed, utilizing artificial kidney of small coli type with 2000 cm2 of dialysing area.
    Results were as follows :
    1) When dialysing fluid was circulated with pump, dialysing effect was increased about 20 % than that without pump.
    2) As far as the temperature of dialysing fluid concerned, the dialysing effect was decreased 6 % in vivo and 8 % in vitro on the condition with 18-20°C than 35-36°C.
    3) When the dialysis were performed with hypothermia, dialysing effect was decreased slightly. It was explained that hypothermia had advantages over normothermia to the hemodialysis for the patient with poor risk, and this fact was certified by the clinical application.
    4) From the analysis of clinical results the indication of hemodialysis for acute renal failure was determined as follows ; i, e, over 150 mg/dl of blood urea nitrogen and over 6.0 mEg/l of serum potassium.
    5) Continuous hemodialysis for 8 patients with chronic renal failure were performed and effective result was obtained in only one case of these patients, and while not effective in the other. It was thought that the renal homotransplantation should be considered for the chronic renal failure.
