CCD defects often appear in CCD cameras as flaws on fixed points in the picture with a constant brightness. Among these defects "White Defects" have high brightness levels which stand out in dark scenes. Because this considerably ruins the picture quality, it proves to be a big problem. This device automatically detects and corrects CCD defects which occur during camera shooting, by using a filter and pattern recognition technology. It can correct multiple white defects at one time, therefore it can reduce the time needed for corrections in post production.

This paper presents the novel method of automatic calculation for estimating the television broadcast service area and the electric field intensity distribution. The numerical calculation of diffraction loss used altitude mesh data and is consider to the curvature for a spherical surface of the earth. The computer simulation shows that this method is effective to estimate both the analog television broadcast and the digital television broadcast.
