Computing in real space, such as mobile computing, enables users to make use of computers anywhere in the world, while computing in virtual space, such as virtual mall and cyber space, enables users to access anywhere in the world from their desktop environments. By integrating these two ways of computing, we can provide users in both spaces a flexible and general platform for computing. Based on this viewpoint, we have constructed a system to realize such a computing environment, called the 'invisible person' system. This system provides an environment consisting of virtual space and real space which are strongly associated each other. That is, the events occurred in the real space are immediately reflected in the virtual space, and vice versa. Users can use such an environment from both spaces, and furthermore they can communicate with each other. In this paper, we overview the concept of invisible person and the design of the system which we have developed.
