Currently, local governments are solely responsible for the administration of care services. Effective April, 2000, public care insurance will become available, enabling each citizen to decide who administers his or her care service. However, most people have limited knowledge of home care, making planning difficult. In this paper, we present a home care service advisory system. Using artificial intelligence, the system proposes a plan to the user based on his or her responses to various simple questions.
