In a relay station of SFN (Single Frequency Networks) for DTB (Digital Terrestrial Broadcasting), a coupling effect between transmitting antenna and receiving antenna should be reduced to an allowable level in order to avoid distortion and oscillation problem. Therefore, we have already made a basic report of the coupling canceler using reference signals such as SP (Scattered Pilot) contained in QAM-OFDM signals. In this paper, we propose a method of calculating transfer function of the coupling paths for the PSK-OFDM modulation schemes without SP, and applied the proposal method to the coupling canceler on some computer simulations. The simulations have shown the usefulness of the proposed method.
A human body significantly alters characteristics of antennas that are used for such communication devices as cellular telephones. These interactions as well as the resultant deposition of microwave power in the human body (Specific Absorption Rate : SAR) are of particular interest for portable radio equipments. Various frequencies, however, are used for the portable radio equipments at present. We therefore need to evaluate tha SAR of the practical portable radio equipments in all those frequencies in the future. In this report, we evaluate the SAR in the human body only at 150MHz.
We introduced the non-linear editing system specially designed for a time edit program. This system provides the attractive way under restriction by time, such as a practicable preview of every content under keeping continuous recording. This paper first describes the features of the new editing system, the method to share the works with conventional VTR equipment. Second, discusses picture quality impairment problem due to loss of Color Frame information when we use this system under the NTSC environment.
We developed the real time CG titling system using Java technology on Windows NT. Using web browser as client, updating CG operate modules is performed quickly, easily and efficiently. The Server system has two composite and linear key outputs.
