The essential oils were obtained from roots of Igagayatsuri (
Cyperus polystachyos Rottb.), Azegayatsuri (
Cyperus globosus Allioni) and Tamagayatsuri (
Cyperus difformis L.) by steam distillation in 0.005_??_0.023% yields. The components were separated by means of column chromatography and preparative gas chromatography.
Identification of the components was performed on agreement of the t
R in GC and mass spectra with those of the authentic specimens.
