By means of counting circ, eosino-and basophiles per 1mm³ blood of healthy adults, the daily and yearly rhythmic alternation between these cell groups were found.
Eosino-and basophiles increase relatively at night and decrease in daytime. These cell groups also increase relatively in warm season and reach to highest in Aug. On the contrary, these cells decrease gradually in cold season and reach to lowest in Feb. Numbers of both leucocyte groups and total leucocytes show just opposite alternation daily and yearly.
These alternations are possible under the control of thalamo-pituitary-adrenocortical system.

We reported an autopsy case of 56-years-old male showing malignant lymphoma arising from peripyloric lymph node (lymphoblastic type) with cytomegalovirus infection. The viral infection was seen in the lungs, stomach and adrenal glands. The lung was heavy weighing 795 gm, in right and 355 gm, in left. There was no prominent interstitial pneumonia but the cytomegalovirus infection was prominent with hyaline membrane like disease. The stomach and duodenum showed numerous shallow ulcers and the cytomegalovirus infected cells were seen not only near the ulcers but in normal looking mucosa. Many infected cells were in the bottom of the gastric glands. The adrenal glands showed numerous necrotic foci surrounded by cytomegalovirus infected cells in the cortex.
We discussed the majority cases of the cytomegalovirus infection as seen in the immunosuppresive conditions and the possibility that the lymphocyte activity might have the most important role in these cases.
We discussed also, the fact that these cases are increasing in number, recently and various clinical manifestations are being reported in the cytomegalovirus infection.

Effects on the respiratory and circulatory system by Ketalar anesthesia with intravenous or intramuscular way were investigated on 80 cases, Results were as follows. Systolic blood pressure showed 16% increase in i.v. group and 8% increase in i.m. group. Pulse rate showed 23% increase in i.v. group and 9% increase in i.m. group. Respiration rate did not show any significant change in the both group. Tidal volume showed 27% decrease in i.v. group and 20% decrease in i. m. group. Arterial blood gas showed a decrease of Pao₂, increase of Paco₂, decrease of pH, and decrease of B. E., In conclusion, Ketalar affected obviously respiratory and circulatory system, but it did not affect clinical problem.
Ketalar is a safe anesthetic drug compared with thiopenthal. Ketalar anesthesia is a excellent method as intravenous induction anesthesia for adults and intramuscular single anesthesia for children.

A 68-years-old Japanese male first complained of epigastralgia. He was diagnosed as gastric cancer by roentgenological and gastro-camera examination. Partial gastrectomy was performed. Two large ulcerative tumors and macro-rugae were noted by gross examination. By histological examination the gastric lesion was diagnosed as reticulum cell sarcoma. In spite of energic lineac irradiation and anticancerous drug administration the lesion relapsed. The patient died after 6 months from the first episode.
The authors reported the case with comments of correlating observation between roentgenological, gastrocamera and macroscopic findings.
