lof ampicillin was administered to 30 similar calves in the same manner.
All the calves had been proved clinically or bacteriologically to be affected with microbial diarrhea.
As a result, the calves given tablets showed a recovery rate of 96.8%, and those given the oil a rate of 90%. No side-effects of ampicillin were observed in any calf.
